Meera Jain or Mary Jane!!!!
Well Jainism is a great religion and with all due respect I shall say that Meera Jain Character has nothing to do with her being Jain, but due its rhyming nature with the name Mary Jane.
The Real Hero whom we should be mentioning here is Mahaveer, but then as a matter of fact he was a Hindu himself the same way as Jesus was a Jew.
Thanks,
Sam

Mahaveer was never a Hindu
Sam,
Jainism and Hinduism share many similarities, but their fundamental beliefs are completely different. So I would request you not declare as a "matter of fact" that Mahaveer was Hindu.
Jains are not Hindus and vice versa.

Mahaveer and Buddha
Aren't they contemporaries with similar stories? Princes who seek enlightenment and moksha?
