Therea is a mystic realm (or dimension) of peace and tranquility. The principal inhabitants are Zokk and Maftra, the Dog-Gods worshipped by Korrek, the Kathartan barbarian. Zokk and Maftra appear as dogs to human eyes. They even appear to have two caretakers: an elderly man and woman. The Therea dimension was first mentioned in Adventures into Fear #15. Therea was identified as a good counterpart to the evil Sominus dimension, the native realm of the demon Thog. Sibarthu, an animated dragon statue who was the guardian of the Temple of Zokk, was shown in Giant-Size Man-Thing #3.
