The character known only as "Veil" who first appeared in Heroes for Hire #3 (Dec. 2006) is apparently a different character than Veil of Desert Sword. The original Veil of Desert Sword was previously killed by Pyro and had different super-powers than the Veil in Heroes for Hire.
