"Babyface" (his real name was never revealed) was a homeless man living on the streets in New York City.

One day Babyface was arguing with his friend "Prince" about which one of them should get to use a refrigerator crate they found as a place to sleep. Their conversation was interrupted when the saw a mysterious and frightening creature. Babyface didn't know it, but the creature was actually Spider-Man's alien costume, the Symbiote. The costume was out gallivanting around the city without Spider-Man's knowledge.

After seeing that sight, Babyface and Prince decided that there was enough space in the crate for two people.
