The Hellfire Serpent was a snake possessed by Daimon Hellstrom's Darksoul. The snake was worshipped by a religious group known as the Order of the Hellfire Serpent, based in a temple in the Himalayas.
The supernatural "hero" known as Terror tore the Hellfire Serpent's fangs out and used them empower Mikal Dragonmekas (a.k.a. "Hellfire") with Darksoul power.
