An unnamed gang-banger was given cheetah spot tattoos by mutant tattoo artist Leon Nunez. These tattoos imbued this character with cheetah-like speed and clawing powers.

The cheetah-spotted gang-banger was at one point called "Homes" by his Hispanic buddy Jesus. But "Homes" is almost certainly not this character's real name, or even his nickname. It appears simply to be a gang slang term, a variation on the terms "home boy" or "homey," meaning "fellow gang member."
