Emperor Thallo is the great-great grandfather of Namor the Sub-Mariner. Emperor Thallo ruled the Atlantean Empire during one of the darker periods of its history. It was legal then to create Atlantean clones. The clones rebelled and the result was the "Clone-War." Cloning was banned. Vyrra, a mad scientist who was a leading cloning expert, was banned from Atlantis. All of the clones were destroyed.
