Dennis Golembuski was the grandson of a Polish freedom fighter who immigrated to America

Dennis Golembuski's nickname is "Golem," but this is a nickname he strongly dislikes. Golembuski was previously an influential underboss who worked for the Kingpin (wilson Fisk). But he turned away from that life, perhaps wanting to "go straight." However, things didn't get much better for him as he ended up working for an unrevealed master who kept him in line with threats to his family. Although Golembuski's "loyalty" may be coerced, he is apparently still an effective criminal lieutenant.
