Lucas Bartholemew Guthrie (known as "Luke") is the paternal uncle of Sam Guthrie, the mutant super-hero known as "Cannonball."
Many years ago Luke Guthrie inadvertently became involved in a plot of the Damocles foundation. The plot involved the Celestial Golem. Luke Guthrie was later incarcerated in Beaumont state correctional facility, which is located in Arkansas.
