In X-Force #s 95 and 96, a flashback shows Sam Guthrie at about the age of 10, tagging along when his uncle Lucas invited Sam's father along on a heist. Sam's father is named as "Tyler Gutrie" in these issues. This may have simply been an editorial/writing mistake. But one could also claim that Cannonball's father - Thomas Zebulon Guthrie - was also known as "Tyler Guthrie" for some obscure reason.
