Harry was a homeless man who was nearly killed in a three-way super-being battle between Spider-Man, Hobgoblin, and the fledgling hero Darkhawk. Fortunately, Harry's life was saved by Darkhawk.

Harry represents an innocent civilian endangered by Darkhawk's carelessness, yet eventually saved because of Darkhawk's innate nobility. After the battle, the veteran super-hero Spider-Man gave newcomer Darkhawk some much-needed advice.

Interestingly enough, the presence of this homeless character in the second issue of Darkhawk continues a motif introduced in the first issue. In the premiere issue of the series, "St. Johnny" is a homeless vagrant who is possessed by an alien being and guides Chris Powell to the Darkhawk amulet. St. Johnny became a significant recurring character in the series, but this issue was the last appearance of the bit character Harry. Despite Darkhawk's cosmic origins, he very much remained a "street-level" super-hero.
