Deborah Hirsch was a witch. The evil demon Dansker attempted to possess the body of Deborah Hirsch, presumably choosing her because she was already dabbling so heavily in occult forces. Deborah resisted the possession with all her might and magical abilities. But when a group of townspeople ambushed Deborah and prepared to burn her at the stake as a witch, her concentration lapsed and Dansker was able to take possession of her. In Deborah's body, Dansker slaughtered the crowd that had captured her. Dansker (in Deborah's body) also attempted to burn Deborah, and then drew the attention of Satana. Deborah Hirsch was saved from witch burning by Satana. When Satana realized that Dansker was within Hirsch, Satana used the Basilisk to defeat Dansker and take the witch's soul.
