Along with the other "Sisters of Sin", Hoodwink (previously known as "Sister Dream") assumed a name and costume based on traditional Catholic nuns. It is not clear whether Hoodwink herself was raised Catholic or actually feels a special affinity for Catholicism. Perhaps she and her compatriots feel a special hatred for Catholicism and Catholic nuns, feelings possible only for those who have been raised Catholic and have come to reject the Catholic Church. Given the fact that Hoodwink is now a violent super-criminal, it is unlikely (but not impossible) that she was ever an actual nun.
