Nestor was a very mysterious figure. He appeared to be an agent of powerful, unknown forces. But even this may not have been the case. Nestor may have been a future version of Magneto or Quicksilver himself.
Nestor provided a downtrodden Quicksilver with assistance and moral advice.
It is possible that Nestor wasn't even an actual person, but was merely a figment of Quicksilver's imagination.
