Nobilus was cloned from Asgardian cell samples that the High Evolutionary obtained from the Asgardian god Thor. Thus he is genetically the same race as the Norse/Teutonic Asgardian gods. But he was created and aculturated by the High Evolutionary. The High Evolutionary's many creations (which are usually uplifted animals) typically practice a Wundagorian-based religion all their own.
