Note: attempted to force transfer of Uni-Power

The Enigma Hunters, natives of the Microverse, attempted to force the transfer of the cosmic power known as the Uni-Power from its then host, Roland Taylor. The Uni-Power normally stays with a host only temporarily, but for some reason the power stayed with the schizophrenic Taylor beyond his time of need.

The precise nature of the Enigma Hunters is not entirely clear. The three Microverse aliens who comprised the Enigma Hunters group appeared to be agents of the Uni-Power itself.

But perhaps they were acting independently and were simply driven to preserve the "purity" of the idea of the Uni-Power residing with hosts only temporarily.
