In Master of Kung Fu #69 it was revealed that Shang-Chi's foe Skullcrasher was the new master of the Po Lin temple. Juliette told Shang-Chi must pass the "test" in order to fight him. Shang-Chi went to the Po Lin temple, passed the test, and then fought Skullcrusher, defeating him.

The nature of Skullcrsher's relationship to the Po Lin temple is not yet entirely clear to us, and bears further research and reading of the stories in which this character appears. Skullcrasher was a ruthless mercenary. Did his leadership of this temple have a genuine spiritual component, or was it simply a place for martial arts training?
