Horus was the trained falcon of the villain known as Anubis the Jackal. (His real name was Ahmad Azis.) Obviously Anubis named his falcon after Horus the classical Egyptian falcon god. Anubis's trained falcon was presumably killed when Anubis's temple was destroyed with him and the falcon in it.
