Nigel Carruthers (known as "Warlock Prime") was the leader of a coven or "cult" of witches. He attempted to use the Silver Surfer's power to benefit his witch group, but he ended up summoning the villainous Abomination, one of the Hulk's arch-enemies. Carruthers was saved from the Abomination by the Silver Surfer.
