Wilson was a dock worker who worked in New York City.

In Captain America (vol. 1) #236 (Aug. 1979), super-heroes Captain America and Daredevil were trying to chase Dr. Faustus using a World War I biplane, but things were not going so well for them. Daredevil ended up alone, piloting the plane, which ran out of fuel. He didn't want to crash the plane into the busy streets of New York City because he knew people would be hurt and probably even killed. Daredevil managed to direct the crippled plane to the docks along the waterfront.

As Daredevil came in fast and low, a dock worker saw the plane headed straight for himself and his co-workers. He shouted: "Wilson! Look!"

The man he shouted to (Wilson) replied with shock on his face: "I-I see it, but I don't wanna believe it!"

Wilson's co-worker said: "You'll believe it when that baby hits, all right! C'mon, duck for cover!"

Both dock workers jumped out of the way as the plane Daredevil was in crashed into crates located right on the edge of the dock. Daredevil was thrown from the wreckage and landed in the harbor - hurt, but alive.
