It is unclear whether the Primitoid was a mutate (i.e., a mutated alien), or a regular member of an unidentified species, or a primal-indigenous native of Earth. The character was specifically called "Primitoid," which suggests that it is a "primitive" type of man. The character looks like a very muscular early Earth cave man. Possibly he is from Earth. Little was actually revealed about its origins, so this brutish gladiator's planet of origin can not really be determined. If he is not from Earth then he is probably best classified as a "primal-indigenous alien."
