The monks at the Jericho Monastery are also referred to as "priests" in available commentary. Very few Christian denominations actually have monasteries in the United States. Just the fact that this is a monastery makes it almost certain that these monks were either Catholic or Episcopalian, particularly when one looks at the traditional brown robes they wore. Given the location in Jericho, Nevada and the fact that they are also referred to as priests, we can be almost certain that these are Catholic monks, not Episcopalian monks or monks of any other denomination. But we would need to actually read the story to be certain.

Even then it is likely that the Jerich Monastery is never explicitly identified by name as "Catholic." But there are probably enough visual and contextual clues in the story to make such a determination.
