Father Adam was a priest who made a deal with demons to cover his indescretions. The demons sent him to kill the Ghost Rider. Father Adam was destroyed in his conflict with the Ghost Rider. The wayward priest was cast into Hell where he was to be tortured by Hoss, a demon subservient to the Devil known as Mephisto.
