Clara Blaze's father was apparently in league with the devil Mephisto. Clara Blaze herself sought to free herself from the Ghost Rider curse that is passed from one generation to the next. Based on this and based on the Christian religious affiliation of her sons, Johnny Blaze and Daniel Ketch, one can conclude that Clara Blaze had Christian self-identity and tried to live as a Christian, to at least some extent. The precise denomination she associated with is unclear, although her sons were apparently Baptist and Catholic. Whatever Clara's Christian religious leanings were, one must also remember that her father had made dealings with the devil, and his beliefs were an important part of her upbringing. Clara herself made a deal - apparently a deal with the devil - in order to keep her family's bloodline curse from being passed on to her son Johnny. Clearly this effort did not have a permanent effect, as Johnny Blaze eventually became the Ghost Rider.
Naomi Kale died when she was confronted by Mephisto, turned into Ghost Rider to battle him, but was defeated and killed by him. Pastor Kale was summoned to bury her body.
