Chio Chulindo was an illegal immigrant from Ecuador who worked as a fruit vendor in the Bronx. He was a casual acquaintance of Danny Ketch (the alter ego of Ghost Rider). Chio was killed in a car accident, along with his pet dog Chupi. Chio and Chupi were later resurrected as a merged being to serve as one of the villainous Blackheart's "Spirits of Vengeance," a group the demon gathered in order to defeat Ghost Rider.
