A demonic Hellhound was summoned by the villainous Morton Thurnton using a spell from the mystic tome Darkhold. The spell Thurnton used was the "Spell of Finding." The demonic hound had mystic tracking and super physical abilities.

When Thurnton was confronted, he attempted to eat the evidence of what he had done. He tried eating the page from the Darkhold. After he did this, he was promptly killed by the Hellhound.
