Sister Magda Sinclair was a nun who worked at an orphanage, but had previously been a mercenary. Now she belonged to the Sisters of Mercy, a Catholic religious order. She was blackmailed by the villainous Jack Shadows into targeting the Punisher. However, she ended up helping the Punisher against Shadows' group. After this incident, she left the orphange.

Note: It appears that the Comic Book Database (ComicBookDB.com) website's page for Magda Sinclair incorrectly lists multiple appearances of a far better known comic book Magdalena, a character from independent comics publisher Top Cow. Marvel's Magda Sinclair has only made one major appearance (Over the Edge #5) and was subsequently mentioned in once as a possible Initiative recruit in Civil War: Battle Damage Report.

This character is in the following 2 stories which have been indexed by this website:
Civil War: Battle Damage Report #1 (Mar. 2007)
Over the Edge #5 (Mar. 1996): "Magdelena Black and Red"
