Gorko was a caveman from the distant past who (through unrevealed means) came to be living in contemporary times. He ended up joining E.D.I.T. (Entities Displaced In Time), a support group for other people in his situation. The support group was run by well known psychologist Doc Samson. In the group, Gorko met the Two-Gun Kid, a hero from America's Old West.
Gorko had no real modern education or job skills. He worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart.
