Note: source of powers of Manhunter (Chase Lawler)

The Wild Huntsman was an elemental force. It was from this entity that Manhunter (a.k.a. Chase Lawler) derived his super powers. Lawler later passed his power on to a new Manhunter: Mark Shaw.

The Wild Huntsman was somehow summoned by musician Chase Lawler in order to save the life of his girlfriend. The price nature of the Wild Huntsman is, as yet, unclear to us. Although described as an "elemental force," it does not seem like a full-fledged cosmic entity or abstract entity. It seems more like a powerful ghost or spirit, or a demon.
