Yorimoto apparently hated the United States passionately. He tried to manipulate the Japanese mutant super-hero Sunfire into waging war against the United States of America.
Yorimoto was a member of member of Yashida Clan, to which a number of other notable Japanese Marvel characters belong, including the Silver Samurai and Wolverine's late fiance, Mariko Yashida.
