The narrative caption reads: "When he has carefully worked out his next getaway gimmick, Roy Reynolds strikes at the chess set collection of millionaire Alvin Randall . . ."

Reynolds, about to steal the chess sets, looks at one of them and thinks: "These sets are worth fortunes! Some are made of gold, some of platinum! Some belonged to historical personages like Napoleon and Bismarck!"
