Zarko the Flying Squid, oddly enough, apparently never appeared in a regular comic book story. But, as described in a one-panel "Far Side"-style cartoon, this villainous squid sought vengeance on Marvel Comics encyclopedist Terry Kavanaugh for not being included in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Update '89.
