Amanda was a young girl who befriended the strange-looking mutant Andy Lyon (also known as "Wild Dog"). But it was Halloween. Amanda thought Andy was wearing a mask. Andy was with a group of mutant children taken trick-or-treating on Halloween. When Amanda learned that Andy wasn't wearing a mask, that he really looked like a freak, she didn't want to be his friend. But Andy saved Amanda's little sister Sue (or younger friend) from a would-be kidnapper.
