Father Time appears with his scythe, wearing a robe and sandals and sporting a long beard and bald head.

Father Time appears here simply as a visual cue further signifying the passage of time. Father Time is essentially an icon or visual accent for the narrative caption that reads: "Several days pass -- and our scene shifts to a gangsters' 'clubroom' in Gotham City . . ."
