We have seen some references which incorrectly indicate that Lita Laverne appeared in two issues, i.e., in Part 1 as well as Part 2 of the "Europe at War" two-part story that appeared in Action Comics #s 22 and 23. Although the story about Superman's efforts to end a war between the European nations Toran and Galonia did indeed encompass two consecutive stories, the Toranian actress/spy Lita Laverne appeared only in the Superman story in Action Comics #22. She does not appear in Action Comics #23. She is not even mentioned at all in that issue.
