Fatima Abboud helped Nick Furty defeat the villainous Supremus. At the end of the story, it was revealed that Fatima was the half-sister of Supremus. Supremus was a formidable villain and Fatima's assistance was crucial for Nick Fury to triumph in the end.

Note that throughout the story, Fatima Abboud was known simply by her first name, "Fatima."

Sources make it clear that Supremus and his sister came from an Arabian country, and specifically suggest Morocco, although it is not clear that Morocco is mentioned by name as their place of origin.

Given Fatima Abboud's Muslim name and national origin in a country where nearly everybody is Muslim, one can be fairly certain that the story's creators intended that the character be Muslim. But Fatima's religion is never overtly identified by name.
