An unnamed henchman in this story worked directly for the henchman Kolb, and by extension, worked for Baron Munsdorf, the villain Kolb was working for. This unnamed henchman is called both a "thug" and a "henchman" by narrative captions in this story. Kolb and this character are specifically referred to as "Kolb and his henchman" (panel 6, page 10), so the unnamed henchman is apparently a "sub-henchman."

The unnamed henchman has short black hair and wears a solid green suit, white shirt, and red-and-black striped tie.

This unnamed henchman is introduced in panel 1 on page 9 in the story retroactively titled "In the Grip of Morpheus," published in Action Comics #31 (Dec. 1940). The narrative caption for this panel reads, "Inside the laboratory, searching through the room filled with strange apparatus, are Kolb, a thug, and another sinister figure." (The "sinister figure" is this story's principal villain, Baron Munsdorf, who is probably a Nazi fifth columnist.)

While these three villains are searching for the formula, Professor Hunter, the scientist who invented the formula, is freed by Superman. Munsdorf and his underlings had chained the professor up in an adjoining room.

When Baron Munsdorf discovers that Professor Hunter is gone, he is incensed. He quickly draws a handgun. The narrative caption in panel 7 on page 10 describes: "As Superman reenters the house, he sees the treacherous baron murder his two accomplices in cold blood!"

This unnamed henchman is actually only seen in three panels on two pages. He has one line of dialogue: "We've got to make him talk!" (He is speaking to Kolb about Professor Hunter.)

As far as can be ascertained, the unnamed henchman other thugs hired by Kolb are local criminals hired by to help him in Baron Munsdorf's scheme. Munsdorf specifically castigated Kolb for allowing some of thugs to go "off script" when they used the sleep formula to commit a bank robbery. It does not seem as though this unnamed thug was himself a Nazi like the Baron himself.
