The savage Snowslayers of the planet known as "Never-Summer" dwelt in snow-bound mountains, particularly the mountain known to the Wolverine tribe as the "Sacred Mountain." The snowslayers were fierce huntes and carnivores who would not hesitate to kill and eat humans, such as the Wolverine tribe. The Wolverine tribe had a religious rite of passage to determine manhood in which a young male would hunt and kill a snowslayer. It is not clear that the snowslayers were truly sentient themselves. They were quite bestial and might be classifiable as animals.
