In Captain America (vol. 1) #128, a large group of hippies staged a peaceful rock concert. The concert was attacked by a motorcycle gang known as Satan's Angels. Captain America stepped in and defended the hippies.

On the one-page mock cover illustration titled "Ha! Get a Job!" in the "Covers You'll Never See!" collection in Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 1) #600 (Sep. 2009), a group of at least four hippies is depicted. The hippies are here depicted as enemies of Spider-Man and campus police.
