Dark Angel tried to change the past and subsequently experienced an alternative reality that demonstrated what happened when she went back into the past, destroyed the Sect of Chasidm before they gained immortality, and thus prevented the villainous Mys-Tech from ever coming into existence. In that alternative reality, a group known as A.E.G.I.S. emerged. This group was rather despotic and ruled the Earth with an iron fist, acting somewhat like Nazi stormtroopers. Seeing this future, Dark Angel realized the futility of trying to change the past. She returned to her own, unaltered reality, wiser for what she had seen.
