Marge Dover was the wife of Stanley Dover Sr. Stanley and Marge were a typical suburban couple who attended church every Sunday. Then they joined a Satanic cult - the Church of Satan. Marge participated mainly for the wild group orgies, but Stanley truly embraced Satanism. When Marge had a child, she left the Satanic group. Stanley stayed in it and continued to pursue Satanism further for the rest of his life.

Stanley wanted to sacrifice their child to Satan. Marge was horrified by all of this. She fled, leaving town, never to return to her husband.

Year later, Sheila Dover, Marge's daughter, sought out her father and moved in with him, unaware of his Satanic beliefs and practices.

Sheila's son, Stanley Dover Jr., would, as a young boy, become the "Stanley" in the "Stanley And His Monster" stories published by DC Comics in the 1960s.
