Deadpool avenged the death of Jennifer, a 16-year-old girl who was mentally and sexually abused by her psychiatrist (Roland). Deadpool went to the see the psychiatrist under the guise of wanting a therapy session for himself. But part way through the session, Deadpool told the psychiatrist about Jennifer, and about how she killed herself becaues of the way her therapist took advantage of her. But before she committed suicide, she wrote a detailed note about what was going on. That is how Deadpool learned of Jennifer's plight. Despite the fact that Deadpool himself is an assassin, he felt great moral outrage at Roland's actions.

Roland claimed that Jennifer "begged [him] to be with her." This was both untrue and immaterial.

Deadpool killed Roland, to avenge Jennifer's death and to prevent him from abusing other people. After killing the psychiatrist, Deadpool mused that this therapy session had been quite "cathartic."
