Warrick Brown was raised largely by his grandmother and aunt, in a strict household. Warrick's grandmother and aunt were apparently fairly devoted Protestant Christians, and this upbringing had a lasting influence on Warrick as an adult. But further research on this topic is necessary before we can properly classify him with regards to precise denominational affiliation.
Regardless of the particulars of the character's upbringing and "off screen" religious beliefs and practices (or lack thereof), a far more important aspect of the character is his continuing struggle with gambling addiction. Warrick Brown is alternatively a compulsive gambler or recovering compulsive gambler/gambling addict. Although certainly not a traditionally recognized "religious affiliation," this is a major aspect of Warrick's character and plays a key role in many scenes and plot points.
Warrick Brown and his fellow members of the C.S.I: Las Vegas team appeared as featured antagonist characters in the story titled "What Happens in Vegas..." published in "Deadpool #900 (Dec. 2009). This is in no way an original Marvel character. This "handsome black guy" crime scene investigator is the same character, or (perhaps for legal reasons) a satirical homage of Warrick Brown. The appearance and portrayal of the character in Deadpool #900 and the character on the C.S.I. TV series are too similar to regard these as two distinct characters.
