Kali is an alien follower of Wayfinder who first appeared in Micronauts (vol. 1) #31 (July 1981). The cover blurb on this issue reads: "A Time of Darkness there will be: Salvation lies in this Mystic Key!"

Kali next appeared a few months later in Micronauts #35, the cover of which reads "This is it! The Origin of the Microverse!"

Kali was described as having traveled to Earth with Wayfinder and others (also named for Hindu deities: Agni, Mara/Maya, Yama), and then traveling to and populating the Microverse. Clearly there is a sense in which Kali, who is named after a Hindu goddess, can be considered goddess of the Microverse, by virtue of being a progenitor of its many races.
