"The Agent" is a talent scout for Mojo. He should not be confused with Rick Mason, a.k.a. "The Agent."

The Agent was originally created by the sorceress Spiral by pulling her own past self (Ricochet Rita) into the present and warping her personality and appearance into a new form.

Rita was freed from this manipulation and later Mojo constructed what was apparently a purely artificial version of the Agent, independent from Ricochet Rita or anybody else as a "host body."
