Leonardo Lion was featured in two separate one-page prose stories published in two separate Harvey comics that went on sale on the same day.
Is this character connected to or the same as "King Leonardo," the title character of the animated TV series "King Leonardo and his Short Subjects," which aired in 1960? At this point, we are not so certain that this is the case. King Leonardo was featured in comics published by Dell and Gold Key. As far as we know, Harvey's "Leonardo Lion" was not the same character, despite similarity in names. But we would have to read the stories themselves in order to be certain of this.
