An unnamed studio manager was a supporting character in The Atom (vol. 1) #6, in a story entitled "The Riddle of the Two-Faced Astronaut." Wizardo the Great was a stage magician who performed in this studio manager's establishment in Ivy Town.

Thefts were committed and the suspected culprit was the magician's assistant, who was dressed as an astronaut. The Atom (Ray Palmer) discovered that the real culprit was Howard Crane, the stage manager at the studio (theater).
