The Oracle of Ancient Knowledge was a source of vast knowledge. It was sought, eventually obtained and then conquered by Thanos.
It is not yet entirely clear to us whether the Oracle of Ancient Knowledge is properly classified as a "character" or not. Perhaps it was simply an amazing computer system without actual artificial intelligence. One would need to read the stories which depict the Oracle in order to properly ascertain the answer to this question.
Of course, if the Oracle of Ancient Knowledge did not possess at least rudimentary artificial intelligence, one might wonder why the Oracle is described as having been "conquered" by Thanos.
