Korahn was a powerful sorcerer who became the lover of Malachi, his female apprentice. Thousands of years ago, Korahn was turned into a statue by the mystic entity Agamotto while he was trying to steal fabled Moebius Stone.

In modern times, Malachi (now a powerful sorceress in her own right) managed to revive Korahn, her long-lost love. But Korahn asked her to return him to death.
