When the powerful sorcerer Korahn and his apprentice/lover Malachi tried to steal the Moebius Stone, they faced Agamotto's guardian in battle. Agamotto himself emerged on the scene, enraged. Agamotto shattered the Stone and Agamotto's guardian turned Korahn into a lifeless statue.
